Solar Farm Development: The British government has approved a 140 MW solar farm project at Oaklands Farm in South Derbyshire, which will also include 37.5 MW of battery storage capacity.
Impact and Costs: The solar park is expected to supply renewable energy to approximately 35,000 homes, with construction set to begin in 2026 at an estimated cost of £80 million ($107 million).
