Technip Energies Secures Detailed Engineering Contract for Thailand's Inaugural CCS Project
Contract Award: Technip Energies has received a detailed engineering contract for PTTEP’s Arthit Carbon Capture and Storage project in the Gulf of Thailand, awarded by Thoresen Jutal Offshore Engineering Heavy Industries Limited.
Environmental Impact: The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in alignment with government policies and is part of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Action Plan on Mitigation for 2021–2030.
Infrastructure Utilization: It will utilize existing infrastructure at the Arthit field while also constructing and installing additional facilities as needed.
Operational Capacity: Once fully operational, the facility is expected to have a capacity to capture approximately 1 million tons of carbon dioxide per year.
