PubMatic is rolling out a new integration to help brands place text ads directly within AI chat interfaces using standard adtech tools, ADWEEK's Kendra Barnett reports. The SSP has partnered with Kontext, a 2023 startup that enables publishers to feed content to AI systems while ensuring revenue and credit. Kontext's technology generates custom, brand-safe ads in real time based on chat context, now available through PubMatic's platform. Within PubMatic's SSP, or the DSP of their choice, advertisers can select the chatbots they would like to appear in from a list of available partners, the author adds.
