Expansion of Refinery Capacity: Oil India plans to increase the capacity of its Numaligarh Refinery in Assam from 60,000 to 180,000 barrels per day by March 2027, with a crude oil pipeline to Paradip Port expected to be operational by December 2025.
Investment and Ethanol Production: The company is investing $3 billion by 2030 in various projects, including a biorefinery for ethanol production from bamboo, which is set to begin operations by the end of September.
