BKV Corporation is an energy company. The Company's core business is to produce natural gas from its owned and operated upstream businesses. It has four business lines: natural gas production, natural gas gathering, processing and transportation (natural gas midstream business), and power generation and carbon capture, utilization and sequestration (CCUS). It is engaged in the acquisition, operation and development of natural gas and natural gas liquid (NGL) properties located in the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth Basin of Texas (the Barnett) and in the Marcellus Shale in the Appalachian Basin of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA). It has a 50% ownership interest in the BKV-BPP Power Joint Venture, which owns Temple Plants, a modern combined cycle gas and steam turbine power plant located in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) North Zone in Temple, Texas.
