MFE's Share Acquisition: MediaForEurope (MFE) has acquired 43.6% of shares in ProSiebenSat.1 through a tender offer, but this is not enough for a majority stake.
Ownership Background: MFE is owned by the family of the late Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and aims to consolidate ProSieben into its financial reporting.
Rival Bid from PPF: Czech investment company PPF has also made a competing offer for ProSieben, securing 18.4% of shares shortly before the deadline.
Tender Offer Deadline: ProSieben shareholders have an additional two weeks to tender their shares to MFE following the end of the acceptance period.
