Heidelberg Materials' Zero-Emissions Cement: Heidelberg Materials has pre-sold all cement produced from its upgraded Norwegian plant, which utilizes zero-emissions technology and captures 400,000 metric tons of CO2 annually, contributing to a net-zero product called evoZero.
Norwegian Government Support for CCS: The facility is part of Norway's Longship carbon capture and storage project, heavily subsidized by the government, aimed at commercializing emissions reduction technologies to help meet global climate targets.
