Foxconn's Investment in Wisconsin: Foxconn Technology has received regulatory approval to invest an additional $569 million in Wisconsin to expand AI infrastructure, creating 1,374 new jobs over the next four years in Racine County.
Job Creation and Economic Impact: The expansion will double Foxconn's workforce in Wisconsin by the end of the decade, with a total of 2,616 jobs expected and $1.2 billion in capital investments planned.
Tax Incentives: The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will provide up to $16 million in performance-based tax incentives, and Foxconn is eligible for up to $96 million in tax credits under the state's EITMZ program through 2029.
Previous Investments: Foxconn has already invested over $2 billion in Wisconsin, contributing to the creation of approximately 1,500 jobs in data server production.
