Cotton Prices Rally as Friday Begins

Cotton Price Movement: Cotton prices increased by 28 to 43 points on Thursday after experiencing losses earlier in the week, with the October contract down 75 points.

Export Sales Data: For the week ending August 14, cotton export sales totaled 105,373 RB, a decrease from the previous week, with Vietnam being the top buyer at 35,800 RB.

Market Indicators: The Cotlook A Index fell to 78.95 cents, while ICE cotton stocks remained unchanged at 16,006 bales; USDA's Adjusted World Price rose to 55.53 cents/lb.

Contract Performance: October 25 Cotton closed at 65.89 (down 75 points), December 25 Cotton at 67.42 (down 18 points), and March 26 Cotton at 69.1 (down 14 points).
