Approval of Datroway: AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo's drug Datroway (datopotamab deruxtecan) has been approved by the U.S. FDA for treating previously treated metastatic HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer, showing a 37% reduction in disease progression compared to chemotherapy.
Trial Results and Future Plans: The approval is based on the TROPION-Breast01 Phase III trial, which involved 732 patients globally, and further regulatory submissions for Datroway are underway in the EU, China, and other regions.
