Morocco's Crypto Regulation Initiative: The Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib, Abdellatif Jouahri, announced that Morocco is nearing the adoption of a legal framework to regulate crypto-assets, aiming to balance financial innovation with risk management in line with G20 recommendations.
Growth in Financial Markets: The initiative also includes addressing the growing secondary market for non-performing loans, which is expected to enhance banks' solvency and support the national economy, while public consultations are underway before final government approval.
