First Majestic Silver Corp (AG) shares increased by 5.5%, reaching a 52-week high, as silver prices surged above $95 amid rising political uncertainty.
The rise in AG's stock is attributed to the overall boost in the silver mining sector, driven by a significant increase in silver prices, which have climbed over 200% in the past year due to demand from AI and solar technology. This surge reflects strong market demand for precious metals, benefiting companies like First Majestic Silver Corp.
The implications of this price movement suggest a growing investor confidence in the silver market, particularly as economic warnings about potential financial troubles loom, making silver an attractive investment option.
