Launch of Pi Protocol: Reeve Collins, co-founder of Tether, is introducing a new decentralized stablecoin called Pi Protocol, which will launch on Ethereum and Solana in late 2025, featuring the USP stablecoin that rewards minters with a yield-generating token, USI.
Governance and Revenue Sharing: Holders of the governance token USPi will have voting rights on protocol decisions and receive a share of revenue from stablecoin minting yields, while the project aims to differentiate itself by backing the stablecoin with real-world assets.
