Cecabank and Bit2Me Partnership: Spanish bank Cecabank has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me to create a MiCA-ready crypto platform for traditional financial institutions, which is currently awaiting approval from Spain's securities regulator. The platform will offer services like crypto custody and order transmission.
Broader Crypto Initiatives in Spain: Other banks in Spain, such as BBVA, are also exploring crypto services, with plans to allow customers to buy and manage cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum directly through their banking platforms, enhancing the integration of digital assets into traditional finance.
