Dunamu Employee Salaries: Employees at Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, are earning an average salary of 133.73 million won ($99,500), surpassing the average salaries of major South Korean banks, which stand at 116 million won ($86,700). This represents a significant increase from last year's average of 59.44 million won ($44,100).
Market Performance Impact: The surge in salaries is attributed to strong market performance, particularly following the approval of the first spot Bitcoin ETF by the SEC, which boosted interest in digital assets and resulted in a 60.5% increase in Dunamu's operating income in Q1 2024.
