The Donerail Group, one of the largest shareholders of MarineMax beneficially owning over 4% of outstanding shares, issued an open letter to shareholders discussing its $35 all-cash offer to acquire the company and its intention to vote against the election of CEO Brett McGill as a director at the upcoming annual meeting. Donerail reaffirmed its $35-per-share all-cash proposal and suggested that should Brett McGill fail to receive majority support, the board should appoint current CFO Michael McLamb as interim CEO.
